Weekend Roundup - Superbowl Edition

It’s Superbowl Sunday here in the US, and folks are getting ready to watch the game. They’re also getting ready to eat and drink just a bit too much. And no, I am not going to preach to you about how you should be healthy today and stick only to the celery sticks and the water. Not eating healthy every once in a while is not going to kill you. Just make sure it’s the exception and not the rule.

and with that, here are a few interesting articles:

From Zen To Fitness we have this article about developing a simple fitness plan.  This is an excellent outline of how to start exercising and great for those of you still struggling with your new year’s resolutions.

From the Examiner, here’s a short article about the depression diet.  Too many people think that saving money means not eating healthy.  That’s completely wrong.  Eating healthy can be a great way to save money, especially if you’re willing to give up on some of those restaurant meals and eat more food at home.
@Examiner

And finally, because someone asked, here’s the link to the BBQ Addicts site and their bacon explosion recipe.  I really hoped you asked for this because you wanted to show it to your friends as something NOT TO EAT!  :)
@BBQ Addicts

Actually, one more, from Mark’s Daily Apple.  In the same theme of the Bacon Explosion, here are a few more foods you really shouldn’t eat!
